Why do women threaten men with the cops?

I just got out of a bad relationship where my babies moma threatened me with cops. I was not abusive in any way. But she has not been the only woman in my life to make threats of this kind. I always seem to fall into the power trap. I feel women know that because men are afraid of the laws and law enforcement regrading relationships and women, women seem to get some sense of power and entitlement if they live with a guy or have his kid. And guys in this trap are in a cheaper to keep her scared to leave her relationship. And even if they are not in a relationship, let's say it's a 1 night stand, a guy has to worry about a woman lying about being d if she's a wacko and mad that she doesn't get what she wants type chick. Also I feel if it's found that a woman lies about (such as the case with the steelers qb) she should get the same amount of jail time he would have gotten if he was convicted. So why do women insist on using the law to attack men and what are some of the ways men could protect themselves? Chicks flip on guys all the time for no good reason and it is what it is. Any man who is in a relationship where a woman threatens with cops please get the hell away from her or eventually she will have you in jail. It's not even something women should joke about.
