My 93 Plymouth Grand Voyager has suddenly quit reading out in the dashboard... what's going on?

My 93 Plymouth Grand Voyager has suddenly quit reading out in the dashboard... no speed, no odometer, oil, gas... nothing. They are all either way to the top or competely to the bottom and never change. What is causing this???? I heard it was a pretty cheap 'wire' that had to be replaced... but WHAT IS IT? lol. THANKS!
