About face recognition....help me....?

Hi everybody,I am BE student...Now i am doing project like face recognition...But i don't know more about face recognition...I am very confusing,becaz many algorithm is there for that..i can't choose the correct algorithm.So plz tell me which algorithm is goob(easy and fast) for face recognition.....plz immediately....
