There was this old Christmas Cartoon?

I believe i saw it as a kid on cartoon network but it was about world war one and the devastation it wreaked upon the world. it was an owl telling the story of what happened to the other forest animals and the cartoon shows the soldiers killing each other, and ultimately coming to the point where it's one Brit with a gas mask and a rifle and a German with a gas mask and a rifle and they both kill each other, then it cuts back to the owl and he's reading from the bible yada yada yada. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what it was called, I believe it aired on ToonHeads late at night on christmas day 2004 or some ****, HELP
