Can anybody recommend some decent value game viewing lodges on the Garden Route west of Port Elizabeth?

We are driving from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth in November. We will also be spending a couple of days in Durban with family so perhaps if anyone knows is there better value there? Some of the lodges in the travel brochures are VERY VERY expensive.
